Disclaimer

**This disclaimer explains how Teak Furniture Exporter operates. Every price we quote is an indicative example, not a fixed guarantee. We prepare legality documents — SVLK, V-Legal, FLEGT — for your shipment, but customs clearance and EUDR acceptance rest with the importing authorities, never with us. Read the full terms below before you order.**

Teak Furniture Exporter (teakfurnitureexporter.com) sells and coordinates the export of Indonesian solid teak (jati) furniture from Jepara. This page sets the boundaries of what we promise and what we cannot promise. Nothing here removes rights you hold under Indonesian consumer or contract law; it simply states our terms in plain language so there are no surprises between our first WhatsApp message and your container arriving at port.

Who operates Teak Furniture Exporter, and what is our role?

Teak Furniture Exporter is a trade brand operated by Bali Premium Trip and is part of Juara Holding Group — an Indonesian group operating from Bali across Indonesia since 2015. We act as an export coordinator and concierge between international buyers and independent solid-teak workshops in Jepara, Central Java. We are not the forest owner, not the sawmill, and not a licensed legal, tax, or customs adviser in your country.

That distinction matters. When we describe grades, construction, or moisture content, we describe what generic Jepara workshops typically produce. We do not attribute any price or specification to a named factory. Production is arranged through vetted workshops, and final craftsmanship, timelines, and legality paperwork depend in part on those third parties. Where we say “we handle” something, read it as “we coordinate,” not “we alone control.”

Why are all prices indicative, not fixed?

No official government source publishes FOB container prices, grade A/B technical definitions, or seasonal price data for Indonesian teak furniture. Pricing is set commercially and is quote-based per piece and per specification. Any USD figure you see on this site — a chair, a dining set, an outdoor bench — is an indicative example only, correct as an illustration as of 2026 and subject to change.

Your real number comes from a written quotation built against your item list. It moves with the variables below:

Price driver Why it moves the quote
Grade Grade A heartwood costs more than Grade B sapwood-mixed stock
Construction Solid mortise-and-tenon joinery differs from lighter builds
Finish Raw, oiled, brushed, or painted finishes carry different labour
Container cubing How efficiently your mix cubes out a 20ft or 40ft container
Volume and MOQ Our practical MOQ is a mixed container that cubes out
FX and material timing Teak input costs and exchange rates shift over the year

A quote is valid only for the period stated on that quote. Once it lapses, materials and freight may have repriced, and a fresh quotation applies.

Who is responsible for SVLK, FLEGT, and EUDR acceptance?

We prepare the legality documentation that Indonesian export requires, and we cooperate with the checks your market imposes. We do not, and legally cannot, guarantee that any border authority will clear your shipment.

Here is the honest split of responsibility:

  • SVLK / V-Legal (Indonesia side). Indonesia’s Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu has been compulsory for timber-industry entities since January 2013, and since 1 January 2015 all wooden furniture except bamboo requires a V-Legal export licence. Teak is explicitly within SVLK scope. We arrange that your consignment ships with the correct V-Legal documentation through certified workshops. We never invent or reuse a licence or V-Legal number.
  • FLEGT (EU legality link). Indonesia was the first country to issue FLEGT licences, doing so since November 2016, and FLEGT-licensed products automatically meet the EU Timber Regulation without further importer due-diligence risk management. Where FLEGT applies, we prepare the paperwork — but the licence is issued by an Indonesian Licensing Authority, and EU Competent Authorities make the entry decision.
  • EUDR (the 2027 concern). The EU Deforestation Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 adopted in 2023, goes beyond legality: products must be deforestation-free against a cut-off date of 31 December 2020, with due-diligence statements and geolocation traceability. Full application phases in around the end of 2026, making it a live buyer concern into 2027. SVLK or FLEGT alone do not by themselves guarantee EUDR compliance. We can help assemble geolocation and due-diligence documentation, but acceptance rests entirely with EU authorities and your importer’s own due diligence.

Policy also shifts. In February 2020 the Ministry of Trade issued a rule scrapping the V-Legal requirement, effective 27 May 2020, which the forestry ministry contested; and as of 2 May 2025 the trade ministry announced relaxing V-Legal document requirements for furniture exports except to the EU and UK. Rules can change again before your shipment sails. We track them, but we never sell customs or EUDR certainty.

Do you guarantee teak durability or performance?

No. Teak is a durable hardwood, and kiln-dried Jepara stock typically ships at roughly 8–12% moisture content. That is a description of normal material, not a warranty of lifespan. Real-world durability depends on your climate, whether furniture sits indoor or outdoor, sun and salt exposure, coastal humidity, and how you maintain and re-oil it. Natural teak weathers to a silver-grey patina outdoors; colour change, minor checking, and grain variation are characteristics of solid wood, not defects. We make no guarantee of specific service life.
