Are the prices and quotes on this Site binding?
No. Every figure you see — on a product page, in a blog, or in an emailed estimate — is indicative only and subject to change. This matters in our trade, because no official government source publishes fixed FOB container prices or grade A/B price tables for Indonesian teak furniture. Pricing is commercial and quote-based, moving with grade (A heartwood versus B), construction, finish, moisture content, and how your items cube out in a container.

What can you actually promise about SVLK, FLEGT, and EUDR?
We prepare documentation; we do not sell certainty. Indonesia’s SVLK (Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu) has been the mandatory national timber-legality system since January 2013, and since 1 January 2015 all wooden furniture except bamboo has required a V-Legal Document to export. Teak sits squarely within that scope. Indonesia was also the first country in the world to issue FLEGT licences, doing so since November 2016; a valid FLEGT licence lets an EU importer place goods on the market as meeting the EU Timber Regulation.
What we will not do is guarantee a customs or compliance outcome. The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR, Regulation (EU) 2023/1115) adds requirements beyond legality — deforestation-free proof against a 31 December 2020 cut-off, geolocation, and due-diligence statements — with full application phasing in around end-2026, which makes it a live 2027 concern for buyers. As the trade ministry signalled on 2 May 2025 when it moved to relax V-Legal document rules except for shipments to the EU and UK, the regulatory picture shifts. So:
- We prepare and pass on the legality documents your shipment requires.
- We do not invent, promise, or pre-issue any V-Legal, SVLK, or FLEGT number.
- Final acceptance of any goods rests with destination customs and competent authorities, not with us.
